Digitas Pixelpark wins tendering for the content management system of the federal administration

German version

Going forward, the content management system of the federal administration, Government Site Builder (GSB, will be supported and technically advanced by Digitas Pixelpark. In a bidding from the Federal Information Technology Center (ITZBund), the digital agency successfully prevailed against several system houses.

The four-year collaboration includes both strategic and specific consulting and development services for GSB’s core system. The goal of strategic development is to identify and implement technological development potentials that are adapted to the market situation. In addition, Digitas Pixelpark will develop special modules on demand for a total of 80 federal institutions.

"Thanks to our experienced public sector experts, we have been able to satisfy our federal and state clients with technically excellent digital projects for more than a decade," says Guillaume Tissier, Client Partner Public Services at Digitas Pixelpark in Cologne. "We are particularly pleased that we were able to score with our agile approach and development standards at the highest level because this mandate requires the highest standards on efficiency and flexibility."

The GSB was developed as part of the e-government initiative in 2005. Since then, it serves as a basis for federal administration's websites and provides an economical CMS that meets all editorial, legal and political requirements that are fundamentally needed for online communication by public administration (further information on the GSB at government-site-builder.de).

In last year's November, Digitas Pixelpark (Publicis Pixelpark at that time) succeeded in the tender for the online lead budget of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS) and is working for the ministry for another four years.
Digitas Pixelpark is also in charge of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the Federal Office for Family and Civil Society Affairs, the North Rhine-Westphalian ministries for Economy, Innovation, Digitization and Energy, for Culture and Science as well as the Research Center Jülich and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
