Once around the world: Digitas Pixelpark launches new Dräger website

German version

After more than two years of project duration, the new worldwide websites of Dräger, the leading manufacturer of medical and safety technology from Lübeck, went successfully live at www.draeger.com. The aim of the extensive project was not only to completely overhaul the digital presence of Dräger but also to strictly focus on the needs of customers and interested parties to significantly increase the performance of the pages.

"We wanted to consistently think the websites from the users' point of view and align every single page with clear KPIs, our conversion goals. Together with our teams and colleagues in the individual countries and with Digitas Pixelpark, this has been extremely successful", says Christian Rühr, Product Owner Website at Dräger.

In the course of the relaunch, the structure of the page, the navigation as well as the design and structure of all texts, graphics and images were completely revised. Given the objective, the scope of the global presence in more than 90 countries and more than 25 languages has been reduced from more than 16,000 pages to just under 8,000.

“Relevant content, optimized for search engines and displayed in the right place, is an extremely effective driver in attracting the right visitors to the websites and converting them into qualified leads. We are very pleased that we were able to support Dräger in this process and thus make a measurable contribution to business success", adds Matthias Berndt, Executive Client Partner at Digitas Pixelpark.

After the relaunch in the UK core market started in spring 2019, all other core markets such as the USA, Germany, France and South America and later on, from autumn 2021, all other countries around the globe have been transferred to the new website approach. The KPIs which were set as central for the new websites, like customer satisfaction, reduction of the bounce rate and increase of the conversion rate, were successfully achieved and exceeded within shortest time.
