Relaunch: Stiftung Warentest continues to develop test.de with Digitas Pixelpark

With the relaunch of the redesigned website test.de, Stiftung Warentest has completed a key milestone in its digital transformation process: Germany's best-known independent goods tester is modernizing its digital offer, thereby strengthening the online position of the leading consumer magazines ‘test’ and ‘Finanztest’. In close cooperation with Stiftung Warentest and Noxum, who are responsible for the backend of the website, Digitas Pixelpark advised strategically and developed the UX concept and UX design, carried out the user tests, prototyping and the frontend implementation. The revised portal not only provides its users with simple and faster access to current test results, but also makes it much easier for them to access the multitude of thematically broad content - and increases reading pleasure.

“Last year, with more than 100 million users, we once again recorded a significant increase in the use of our online portal - but that is just one of the reasons for our relaunch. The new test.de offers a completely renewed user experience with a significantly simplified and more intuitive navigation, an easier-to-use design with new imagery and typography, which takes into account the needs of our users for fast, always up-to-date and context-related information, regardless of the device”, explains Julia Bönisch, Head of Publications and Digital Transformation.

Since 2011, Pixelpark has been advising Stiftung Warentest on the strategic and conceptual development of its digital offering and conversion optimization, and has already worked with the client to revise various areas of the extensive online portal, including the shop and subscription area, the product finder, the guide to continuing education and the application “Medicine in the test”.
